SideQuest is licensed, not sold, under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement — the standard EULA. Those terms govern your use of the app, and this page states the parts specific to SideQuest. Where the two differ, the standard EULA governs.
Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement
SideQuest assigns one main quest and two side quests a day, and lets you keep proof that you finished them — a written note, a photograph, or a short voice recording. Everything you record is stored on your device. See the privacy policy for what that means and for the one thing that leaves your phone.
SideQuest is not medical, psychological, or professional advice, and it does not diagnose or treat anything. Quests are ordinary everyday tasks. Use judgement: do not attempt a quest that is unsafe for you, and stop if it is. You are responsible for what you choose to do.
The notes, photographs and recordings you make stay yours. They are stored on your device and are never uploaded to us — we have no servers that could hold them, and no way to read them. You are responsible for what you record and for keeping your own copies; if you delete the app, that record is gone.
Do not attempt to reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the app, and do not use it to break the law or to harm anyone.
SideQuest is provided as is, without warranty of any kind, to the extent the law allows. It may contain errors and may become unavailable. Nothing here limits any right you have under the consumer law of your own country.
These terms may change when the app changes. The effective date above says when this version was written. Continuing to use the app after a change means the new terms apply.
